Where will you be working?

You will be working for a dynamic, international organization operating in the tech industry. Their work environment is agile and encourages creative thinking, while offering flexibility in a hybrid working setup. The organization has a diverse workforce, including individuals from various backgrounds, and operates across multiple regions. The project you will be working on focuses on enhancing Single Sign-On (SSO) and implementing OAuth-based security solutions.

What are your core tasks?

As a Java Developer/Security Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:

• OAuth & OpenID Connect (OIDC): Implement and enhance OAuth services for secure resource access, managing authorization flows and permissions.
• API Development: Design and develop APIs for seamless authentication and authorization, enabling clients to leverage the organization's identity provider.
• Direct Authorization Solutions: Contribute to building a new direct authorization solution to complement existing security measures.
• Consultation & Advisory: Act as an expert, advising the team on best practices for OAuth, security, and identity management.
• Technology Focus: Work primarily with Java and Scala, utilizing Spring Security and Keycloak for secure application development.

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, we are looking for the following qualifications and skills:

• Extensive experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Proven track record in Java development (experience with Scala is a plus).
• Expertise in Spring Security for building secure applications.
• Familiarity with Keycloak or other IAM (Identity and Access Management) tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to security challenges.
