Where will you be working?

For one of our clients, we are looking for a QA Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the software and supporting the team to maintain a quality software product.

Voor een van onze klanten zijn we op zoek naar een QA Engineer die een belangrijke rol gaat spelen in het waarborgen van de kwaliteit van de software en het ondersteunen van het team om een kwalitatief hoogstaand software product te onderhouden.

What are your core tasks?

As a QA Engineer you will assess and test the software for functionality, usability and correctness. You will join one of the multidisciplinary scrum teams. Here you will perform both manual and automated tests.

You will be working in a company that is a market leader in its segment. You will be working on a high quality product and you will ensure that its quality is taken to an even higher level. You will do this in the shift-left way. Not only at the end, but also in the analysis phase already performing tests. You are not just a tester. You also watch the developers and other functions within the multi disciplinary team. Your position can therefore be seen as a quality coach. As a QA Engineer, you are proactive and will actively investigate issues yourself if necessary.

Als QA Engineer beoordeel én test jij de software op functionaliteit, gebruiksvriendelijkheid én correctheid. Je komt terecht in een van de multidisciplinaire scrumteams. Hier zal je zowel handmatig als geautomatiseerde testen uitvoeren.

Je komt te werken in een bedrijf wat marktleider binnen hun segment. Je zal werken aan een hoogstaand product en je gaat ervoor zorgen de kwaliteit ervan naar een nog hoger niveau te tillen. Dit doe je op de shift-left manier. Niet alleen aan het eind, maar ook in de analyse fase al testen uitvoeren. Je bent niet alleen een tester. Je kijkt ook mee bij de developers en de andere functies binnen het multi disciplinaire team. Jouw functie kan dan ook wel worden gezien als een kwaliteitscoach. Als QA Engineer ben je proactief en ga je zelf actief op onderzoek uit als dit nodig is.

What are we looking for?

• HBO working and thinking level;

• Minimum of 3 years Test experience
• Knowledge of SQL, XML and Postman
• Dutch speaking
• Insight in CI/CD, knowledge of build pipeline tool like Jenkins is a plus
• Some knowledge of Java is an advantage

• HBO-werk- en denkniveau;
• Minimaal 3 jaar Test ervaring
• Kennis van onder andere SQL en XML
• Nederlands sprekend
• Inzicht in CI/CD, kennis van build pipeline tool zoals Jenkins is een pré
• Enige kennis van Java is een pré
