Are you a hands-on DevOps Engineer with experience in Elasticsearch or OpenSearch? Join one of our innovative clients for a 3-month freelance assignment where your expertise will make immediate impact.
Where will you be working?
Our client, a respected non-profit organization in Amsterdam, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to maintain and improve their in-house and cloud-based OpenSearch/Elasticsearch setup. Due to team capacity issues, your contribution will be essential from day one.
What are your core tasks?
- Maintain and optimize Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters (in-house & cloud)
- Support Linux system administration (e.g. OS upgrades, patching)
- Ensure system stability, performance and monitoring
- Collaborate with engineers and share knowledge with the team
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments
- Strong Linux sysadmin skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Fluent in English, proactive, and independent
