Where will you be working?

This company has created a platform that makes vehicle transport bookings as simple as booking a flight. In just 30 seconds, customers get a price and can arrange transport with a single click. It’s live in several European countries and growing fast — but now they’re starting something new.

They’re setting up a brand-new development team in Zwolle — and they’re looking for a Lead Developer to guide that team technically and personally. You’ll work closely with the Software Architect and collaborate with international teams in Spain and Ukraine. The culture? Open, practical, fast-moving, and fun.

What are your core tasks?

You’ll be the team’s technical lead, coach, and quality guard. You’ll help shape the development process, lead code reviews, mentor junior and medior devs, and keep the team on track. You’ll also be hands-on, mostly working with PHP (Laravel) and TypeScript (React).

This is a great role if you enjoy coaching others and setting things up well from the start. You’ll also be part of larger decisions around CI/CD, testing, and how to best work across international teams.

What are we looking for?

• 6+ years in software development, with at least 1 year in a lead or coaching role
• Solid experience with PHP (Laravel), TypeScript and React
• Comfortable mentoring and doing regular code reviews
• Good communicator (in Dutch or English)
• You care about clean code and long-term maintainability
• You enjoy building a positive team culture
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD and test automation is a plus

Tech stack: PHP (Laravel), React, TypeScript, Bitbucket Pipelines, VPS, Private Cloud, Scrum

• €7,000 per month, based on experience and leadership level
