Your day starts with a P1 incident, while three teams claim their request is “top priority.” You stay calm, ask the right questions, and make decisions that actually stick. As Product Owner IT Engineering, you bring structure to complexity, protect engineers from noise, and ensure the platform and infrastructure keep running and improving. You operate at the heart of a Kanban transition, with real ownership and technical depth.
Where will you be working?
WannaFlex connects IT professionals with roles where technology and people come together. You will work through WannaFlex, either in a contract setup, for an organisation with a mature IT Engineering team. The culture is pragmatic, professional and focused on continuous improvement. What are your core tasks?
You act as the single point of contact for IT Engineering and translate organisational demands into clear, actionable work. You guard flow in a Kanban system where operational firefighting and long-term infrastructure improvements constantly compete for attention. You do this in a team responsible for core services, platform, and infrastructure such as Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD and observability.
You keep the Ready queue clean and prioritised, enable engineers to focus on high-value work, and ensure ISO 27001:2022 compliance. Metrics, flow and continuous improvement are part of your daily toolkit.
What are we looking for?
You keep your head cool under pressure and know when to push back — clearly and respectfully. You communicate easily with engineers and leadership and feel at home in technical infrastructure environments.
- You have 5–7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Delivery Manager or Engineering Manager in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or platform teams.
- You have proven Kanban and Lean expertise; certification is a plus.
- You understand infrastructure and platform engineering at a technical level.
- You are highly proficient with Jira, including boards, filters and automation.
- You are familiar with ISO 27001 processes around change and incident management.
