Where will you be working?
You will join a large Dutch financial organisation known for its secure, large-scale digital environment. The team works on the online access domain, building authentication journeys, device registration and secure login services. You work in an international Agile team with backend, frontend and DevOps engineers. The environment is informal, modern and focused on quality, security and continuous improvement.
What are your core tasks?
As a Medior Full Stack Engineer you work across Java based microservices and Angular components, with a strong emphasis on the backend (80–90%). You contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of secure online access services used at scale. In this role you develop Java and Spring Boot services, work with REST APIs and Oracle databases, and help build Angular and TypeScript frontends. You write tests, participate in code reviews and support code quality improvements. You are also involved in DevOps related work such as CI/CD, monitoring, deployments and incident handling, while actively collaborating in Agile ceremonies and pair or mob programming sessions.
What are we looking for?
- 2–4 years of experience in full stack or backend focused development
- Strong with Java 11+ and Spring Boot
- Experience with REST APIs
- Some experience with Angular / TypeScript or similar
- Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle is a plus)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git
- Strong communication skills. team oriented. eager to learn
- Fluent in English. living in NL
Nice to have: Cloud (Azure or CF), Kafka, OAuth/JWT, monitoring experience
