Details

Blairi Schermer
Account Manager Development
Do you enjoy bringing clarity and pace to a high volume defect flow, especially when customer impact is on the line? Are you someone who naturally raises the quality of tickets and ownership across teams, without creating extra overhead? And are you looking for a project secondment assignment where your work is visible, measurable and genuinely useful?
Where will you be working?
You will join a large, international organization in the logistics sector with a complex enterprise digital product landscape. Multiple teams work in parallel across several platforms, with stakeholders spread across the EU and the US. The environment is fast moving and structured, with a strong focus on post release stability, customer experience and clear performance metrics.
What are your core tasks?
You will own the central intake and triage flow for digital product defects across multiple platforms and make sure every ticket is clear, reproducible and ready for action. You validate severity and impact, improve documentation standards with strong evidence and screenshots, and keep queues clean through consistent categorization, prioritization and de duplication.
You help defects move quickly to the right product and engineering teams and actively push them through the workflow, with particular focus on reducing bottlenecks between analysis and acceptance. Along the way you monitor flow health and MTTR, flag risks early when service targets are under pressure, and keep stakeholders aligned through recurring triage moments and crisp status updates.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years experience in defect management, QA operations, product operations or support operations in a high volume digital environment
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile ways of working, with a strong execution mindset
- Experience with ticketing tools such as Octane, Jira or similar. Octane is the daily reality in this role
- Strong ticket hygiene and documentation skills, able to turn ambiguity into actionable work
- Confident cross functional communicator who can drive alignment and ownership without formal authority
- Comfortable operating in an enterprise, multi team setting across multiple products
What do we offer?
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: minimum 6 months
- Rate: to be agreed
- Location and setup: EU time zone, hybrid working in consultation. Most stakeholders are based in Amsterdam, with overlap needed with US colleagues
