Working on solutions that shape the future, in an international environment where quality and reliability take center stage. For one of our clients, we’re looking for an independent and technically strong Test Specialist who understands the back-end (APIs, databases) inside and out and takes testing quality seriously from day one.
Where will you be working?
You’ll be joining a dedicated team within a European project, where robust testing processes are essential. Do you enjoy working with Playwright, have solid experience in API and database testing, and know how to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and architects? Then keep reading!
What are your core tasks?
As a Test Specialist, you’ll be part of a large-scale migration and improvement project within the IT Delivery organization. You’ll be responsible for designing, writing, and executing test scripts, with a strong focus on the back end. You’ll contribute to iteration planning, automate test scenarios, and deliver clear and actionable quality reports. You’ll work with tools like JIRA (Xray), Git, and PostgreSQL, and you’re comfortable navigating CI/CD environments.
What are we looking for?
You’re analytical, self-driven, and a strong communicator. You thrive in a regulated (financial) environment and know exactly how to ensure quality — even within complex application landscapes. You’re not afraid to ask critical questions, think along with the business, and help move the team forward.
- You have experience with test automation using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Postman.
- You’re skilled in API-level testing (OpenAPI) and working with SQL on PostgreSQL databases.
- You’re familiar with tools such as JIRA-Xray, Git, and Confluence.
- You speak fluent English and collaborate well in international teams.
- You’re experienced in context-driven and exploratory testing.
- Knowledge of Java, K9s, or Camunda is a plus.
- ISTQB or TMap certification is a nice-to-have.
