Analysis & Design

Building smarter and future proof data platforms. Helping engineering teams move forward while staying hands-on yourself. And working on modern data infrastructure where scalability and quality truly matter. In this Lead Analytics Engineer role, you combine technical depth with leadership within an international organization where data plays an increasingly strategic role. You will have a strong influence on the data platform, work with modern cloud technologies and help shape continuous improvements across the environment.

Where will you be working?

You will join an international organization operating in a complex and data driven environment. The company continues to invest heavily in modern data platforms and cloud solutions, with data becoming a key driver for future growth and innovation.

Within the Analytics Engineering domain, you will work closely with engineers, data specialists and stakeholders across the business. The culture is open, professional and results driven, with short communication lines and plenty of room for ownership and initiative.

What are your core tasks?

As Lead Analytics Engineer, you will lead the technical direction of the Analytics Engineering team while remaining actively involved in the technical work yourself. Roughly half of your time will focus on coaching, supporting and guiding the team. The other half will be spent on architecture, infrastructure and hands-on implementation of scalable data solutions.

You will work on modern and future proof solutions within a GCP environment and play a key role in further developing and improving the organization’s data platform. You will also ensure that standards, governance, documentation and development processes are properly implemented and followed across the team.

DBT remains an important part of the environment, with a strong focus on DBT Cloud. Experience with DBT Core is also highly relevant.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the technical direction of the Analytics Engineering domain.
  • Coaching and supporting engineers within the team.
  • Improving the data infrastructure and platform architecture.
  • Designing scalable solutions within GCP.
  • Ensuring quality standards and development processes are followed.
  • Collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Remaining hands-on with engineering and implementation work.

What are we looking for?

You are comfortable switching between strategy, technical execution and team leadership. You enjoy guiding teams while staying close to the technology itself. At the same time, you work in a structured way, think ahead and enjoy improving processes and platforms.

In addition, you bring:

  • Strong experience as a Lead Analytics Engineer, Tech Lead or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with DBT Cloud and/or DBT Core.
  • Experience with modern data platforms and data infrastructure.
  • Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality.

What do we offer?

You will join a technical environment where you can make a real impact on the future of the data platform while having plenty of room for your own ideas and technical vision.

In addition, you can expect:

  • A salary between €6,000 and €9,000 gross per month.
  • A permanent position within an international organization.
  • Flexible and hybrid working opportunities.
  • The opportunity to work with modern technologies in a mature cloud environment.
  • A culture focused on quality, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Plenty of room for both technical and personal growth.
