Amber Schilling
Account Manager (Analysis Design)
As a Senior Project Manager IT, you’re the link between policy, execution, and the teams involved — with direct impact on how the organisation works and collaborates.
Where will you be working?
You bring structure to complex projects where risks aren't just something in a report, but a daily concern. And you help a technically driven organisation truly get its project management in order.
What are your core tasks?
You’ll take ownership of the execution and guidance of a company-wide compliance project, with a focus on risk management within a tech-heavy environment. You’ll work alongside two compliance officers and support different teams — from engineering to platform operations — in identifying, mitigating, and following up on risks. At the same time, you’ll bring structure to the way projects are set up and delivered, especially in collaboration with scrum teams.
You won’t just manage one major project; you’ll also develop a working method that sticks. Think: setting up steering committees, progress reports, and regular check-ins with stakeholders. You make sure compliance initiatives don’t just live on paper, but are actually implemented. You’ll collaborate closely with IT teams, security officers, and the compliance department, ensuring alignment with existing agile methods.
What are we looking for?
You’re someone who can switch gears quickly, who isn’t afraid to push back, and who stands strong under pressure. You know how to pinpoint bottlenecks, take initiative, and lead — even without formal authority.
- Hard requirement! You hold a relevant project management certification to bring best practises (such as PMP, Prince2 or Scrum Master).
- Hard requirement! You have at least 5 years of project management experience in a technical or digital environment.
- Hard requirement! You’re strong in (C-level) stakeholder management, especially when working with technical teams.
- You’re familiar with and experienced in working with scrum and agile methods.
- You’re both a doer and an advisor — bringing best practices and adapting them to the real world.
- You speak and write fluent English.
What do we offer?
- You’ll work in a dedicated, international organisation that makes an impact and has realistic expectations.
- 6-month interim assignment with the intention of extension.
- Hybrid work setup: you're expected in the office on Mondays and Thursdays (ideally three days).
- Office location right in the heart of Amsterdam (next to Central Station). The space to bring in your expertise — teams are waiting for your support.
